Princess Kingston 2010
The Village of Kingston is currently
looking for candidates for Princess Kingston and Child
Attendant for the 78th Annual Annapolis Valley Apple
Blossom Festival.
Candidates for Princess must be between the ages of 19
and 23 (by December 31, 2010), and be from the Kingston
Fire District area. Candidates must have completed High
School with a graduation certificate or equivalent and
be available between May 26th and June 1st 2010.
Candidates must also be available for selection and
wardrobe teas, float unveiling and various parades
throughout the summer.
The role of Princess Kingston will give the candidate
valuable experience in public speaking skills,
interpersonal skills and self confidence, which will
assist her in both her personal and professional life.
Candidates for Child Attendant must be between the ages
of 8 and 9 and be from the Kingston Fire District area.

Applications for both may be picked up at the Kingston
Village Office at 671 Main St. Monday to Friday between
8:00am and 4:00pm.
The deadline to apply is March 31, 2010 by
4:00pm.
